A political party aimed to bring together Big Brother fans was inaugurated in Sofia on Monday.

The founder - Atanass Panayotov - gave the new formation the name Big Brother National Movement, apparently with a wink to the ruling Simeon II National Movement.

According to Panayotov, there were three million Bulgarian fans of the reality show, and they needed a political representation.

Dutch producer Endemol sold the format for Big Brother to Bulgaria's Nova TV this September, and there are two weeks before this season ends.
