Bulgaria's world chess champion Antoaneta Stefanova, 25, drew former champ Alexander Khalifman of Russia on Thursday, during the Drammen Chess Festival in Norway.

The event started on December 27 and will continue until January 5, 2005.

Other participants include Alexei Shirov, Viktor Korchnoi, Peter Heine Nielsen, Luke McShane and Norway's Simen Agdestein.
