Bulgaria's hard-pressed football club Levski is expected to sell hotshot striker Georgi Chilikov to Nuernberg FC, Germany, according to a Bulgarian daily.

The team reportedly set a price of EUR 800,000 for the player.

The transfer should take place in the beginning of 2005, Noshten Trud wrote on Monday.

All players and administration at Levski recently saw their pay cut because of the team's financial trouble.

The monthly salaries of coach Stanimir Stoilov and Executive Director Nasko Sirakov were reduced by 30%, to BGN 5,600 and BGN 3,500 respectively.
