A concert of world famous German Symphony Orchestra and the Windsbach Boys Choir, due in Sofia on December 8, will be aired on the frequencies of Deutsche Welle around the world.
Deutsche Welle audience will have the chance to enjoy the performance of Bach's Christmas Oratorio on December 24 on the 95.7 MHz frequency, a radio format which was launched in Sofia and the region in April this year.
DW-Radio is presenting a new programming concept, which includes broadcasts in Bulgarian, supplemented with news shows in English and German and lots of high-quality pop, jazz and classic music, representatives of Deutsche Welle told journalists in Sofia on Tuesday.
Deutsche Welle takes the first step in making an around-the-clock program, tailored to the specifics of the Bulgarian audience, says Director-General Erik Bettermann.
Deutsche Welle is media partner, initiator and organizer of the concert in Sofia, to take place under the patronage of Germany's Ambassador to Sofia Harald Kindermann.
