Bayer (Leverkusen) won the "Bulgarian derby" in the 16th week in the Bundesliga.

Bayer hardly managed to overcome the rivalry of Wolfsburg but managed to defeat the "volves" 2-1. Bulgaria's Dimitar Berbatov played the entire match for his Bayer Leverkusen.

Marian Hristov also played for Wolfsburg, while the other Bulgarian star Martin Petrov was left on the bench and entered the game 5 minutes before it end.

Wolfsburg opened the score in the 4th minute as Diego Klimowicz placed the ball into Bayer's net. Bulgaria's Dimitar Berbatov help his team mate Andrey Voronin to score for 1-1 and then Franca scored in the 89th minute for the final 2-1 for Bayer (Leverkusen).

Also on Saturday German media reported that Bayer Leverkusen is planning to buy Bulgaria's Martin Petrov.
