Bulgaria will see December 9 the premiere of a Michael Cory Davis film about forced prostitution.

The movie "Svetlana's Journey", shot in Bulgaria, is the directing debut of the young US actor, featured in Bold and The Beautiful and All My Children, as well as in Raptor Island, Alien Blood, Man Made, The Vault, and The Call.

The film features young Bulgarian star Violeta Markovska, who has also been assigned one of the leading parts in popular soap opera Hotel Bulgaria. The series is currently being broadcasted by Nova TV.

All other actors in Svetlana's Journey, including leading-part Maxim Gentchev and Gergana Dzhikelova, are Bulgarians.

The project was carried out in cooperation with the local Face to Face organization, aimed at fighting forced prostitution (http://www.facetoface.bg).
