Millions of Americans have come together with family and friends to celebrate Thanksgiving Day. The annual festival marks the feast the pilgrims held in 1621 to give thanks for a good harvest after their arrival in the New World. The holiday is traditionally celebrated with parades and football games, and involves eating a lot of pumpkin pie, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and of course, turkey.
