UN Admits Guilt of Sexual Abuse

A UN investigation has found clear evidence that UN peacekeepers and civilian staff in Congo are guilty of sexual abuse, and Secretary-General Kofi Annan said he is "absolutely outraged" by it. The UN mission had first reporting of the allegations in the Congolese city of Bunia on May 7. The Office of Internal Oversight Services, the UN's watchdog agency, has sent investigators to Bunia.
