“Bulgaria has no alternative, but EU and NATO entry,” Ursula Seiler-Albring, German Ambassador to Bulgaria, said on November 23. She confirmed Germany’s support for Bulgaria’s accession in the EU. Ambassador Seiler-Albring gave a positive assessment of the Cabinet's strategy for attracting foreign investment and making the privatisation process transparent and predictable.Commenting on the upcoming introduction of VAT on tourist packages she said that the Cabinet’s decision is a compromise. In connection with the closure of Nuclear Plant Kozloduy four older units the Ambassador recalled that the EU is yet to adopt common legislation on nuclear energy.
