Strong Quake Jolts Taiwan

A strong earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale rattled Taiwan on Monday night, local media reported. The epicenter was said to be northeast of Taiwan, at the seabed off the coast of Hualien. The quake lasted for about one minute, but no casualties or damages were immediately reported.
