Two times Olympic medallist Jordan Jovtchev swept the prestigious Man of the Year award of the Bulgarian Club M magazine.

The awarding ceremony will take place in the end of November. Jovtchev will then become Cavalier of the Sword of Club M.

Some 7,011 people took part in the inquiry that the Club M magazine organized to appoint the winner in the contest. Jovtchev's rivals included President Georgi Parvanov and Finance Minister Milen Velchev.

The ceremony for awarding the Man of the Year prize has been an attractive and long anticipated event in Bulgaria each year. So far winners of the award include some of the country's most popular artists, influential journalists, nation-wide celebrated sportsmen and successful politicians.

Along with the award for the Man of the Year additional glamour to the ceremony will be added by the awarding of the beautiful Bulgarian journalist Veneta Raikova, that was chosen by the Club M team to receive the Miss Tv Charm 2004 title.
