Bulgaria's top female sprinter Ivet Lalova has signed a one-year contract with Mitsubishi car company in Bulgaria.

Lalova, who finished fourth at 100m and fifth at 200m at the Olympic games in Athens, will advertise the Colt model of the Japanese car giant.

The world's fastest woman for the outgoing summer season has renewed her contract with her sponsor "Biogame" for another year.

The athlete will keep on receiving additional strength by the products of her sponsor.

The 20-year old talent has also contracts with Nike and Post Bank.

Lalova will take part in the 200m competition on the European championship in hall in Madrid starting 4th March, sprinter's coach Konstantin Milanov announced.

He explained they had decided to concentrate only on the 200m discipline because Ivet had best chances there.

Ivet has started the preparation for the new winter season.

Konstantin Milanov has started working with another female sprinter - Gergana Stoyanova, who is 2001 European champion in the 100m hurdle-race discipline.

Milanov's ambition is to make a break-through at the 60m with Stoyanova, who is competing for Greece.
