Legendary US director Brian de Palma is set for visiting Bulgaria to inspect the shooting sites for his next movie, media reported.

De Palma will arrive in Sofia around November 8 and filming should start in March or April next year, according to the Bulgarian News Agency BTA.

Josh Hartnett, famous for his "Black Hawk Down" and "Pearl Harbor" roles, together with Scarlet Johansson and former pop superstar Mark Wahlberg will star in de Palma's Bulgarian production. The project is worth USD 50 M.

De Palma has earned international fame for "Sisters," "Carrie," "Dressed to Kill," "Wise Guys," and "The Untouchables."
