Bulgaria's Parliament opened Wednesday an exhibition of aquarelles by Chudomir, a writing phenomenon who also illustrated his books himself.

Chudomir (1890-1967) has been enjoying tremendous popularity for his short humorous stories, and is also the author of feuilletons, stories, aphorisms, comic poetry and cartoons.

His works have been published in a number of foreign languages, including Russian, Romanian, Czech and Slovakian.

Besides an artist, Chudomir was a Parliament members and was also among the founders of the Kazanlashka Iskra newspaper.
