Bulgaria's national football team will not face the Slovenian team in a friendly game scheduled for November 17.
The Slovenians refused to take part in the game, Atanas Karaivanov, spokesman of the Bulgarian Football Union said. Despite the refusal of the Slovenians, Karaivanov pledged that the Bulgarians will have a rival for the November 17 game.
The Bulgarians were looking to the friendly against Slovenia, in order to keep fit until the World Cup qualifier against Sweden. The Bulgarian team have every reason to want their present condition retained, after thrashing Malta 4-1 on Wednesday.
Thousands of spectators at Sofia's Vassil Levski Stadium enjoyed an energetic and highly offensive play, guaranteed by the coach's unique lineup scheme. Stoitchkov sent out to the field eight offensive players and only two defenders.
