A charity concert of the Raddbandafelag Reykjavikur Male Choir, part of the fund-raising activities organized within the Breast Health Awareness Campaign 2004, will take place in Sofia.
The concert, organized by the members of the International Women's Club Sofia and ICEART, will take place October 17 at 7 pm at the Ivan Vazov National Theatre.
The funds donated are to be used towards the purchase of a mobile mammography unit necessary for the examination of women living in the remote regions of Bulgaria.
In October, the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Bulgaria will join activities of all the major breast cancer charities around the world under the patronage of Bulgarian President's wife Zorka Parvanova.
The campaign will seek to provide vital information about the necessary preventive measures and raise funds for a special mobile mammograph for the women in the remote parts of Bulgaria.
