At least 17 people were killed in two suicide car bomb attacks in Baghdad on Sunday. One of the cars exploded near an eastern Baghdad police academy, and the other - near a small market in the area of the Culture Ministry. The group of Jordanian national Abu Musab Al Zarkaui has claimed the responsibility for the attack, according to an Islamic Internet site. The attack came as US Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld unexpectedly visited the US troops in Iraq. Rumsfeld told the US soldiers that it was unlikely for the United States to withdraw any troops before next year's elections in Iraq. The security measures will be considerably tightened before the elections, US defence secretary said.
