Football fans from Bulgaria and Croatia have come to grips in downtown Zagreb, media reported.

The incident came hours before teams of the two countries kick-off a World Cup qualifier.

A correspondent of Bulgaria's Radio Gong cited witnesses as saying that a group of Croatian die-hards rushed against the Bulgarians. After a rough-and-tumble, one of the Croatian fans had to be rushed to a hospital.
