A bust-monument of Bulgarian Apostle Vassil Levski was inaugurated Friday in front of Bulgarian Consulate in Greek's town of Thessaloniki.
The sculpture is a replica of the apostle's monument in Bulgarian town of Tchirpan and is made by Ivan Blazhev.
Finance Minister Milen Velchev attended the solem ceremony. Тhe project is financed by the finance ministry and by voluntary contributions from Bulgarian students living in the northern Greek town.
The initiative to place a bust-monument of the most famous personality in Bulgarian history was promoted and realized by the All-Bulgaria Committee and the Vassil Levski Foundation.
