Bulgaria and Italy have proved to strengthen all kinds of bilateral relations, putting the stress on cultural events alongside economic relations.

With a look in the future, Italy revealed to Bulgarian audience the works of one of its most prospective futuristic artists, Fortunato Depero.

The collection exhibited in Sofia's National Gallery for Foreign Art has been designed especially for Bulgaria, H.E. Italian Ambassador to the country Gian Battista Campagnola pointed out at the opening event on Thursday.

The "Futurism of Fortunato Depero 1914-1948" is an explicit illustration of the best of modern futurism, which has inspired new trends in fashion, cuisine design and equipment.
