Three Iraqi Kurd militiamen have been beheaded by terrorists from the group Ansar al-Sunna, which showed their deaths in a video posted on a web site. The unknown killers denounced Kurdish political parties for cooperating with Americans in Iraq. The bodies of the three Kurds, members of the peshmerga militia of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, were found by a road outside the northern city of Mosul, according to Sarkawt Hassan, security chief in the mainly Kurdish town of Sulaimaniyah. Meanwhile, Iraq's prime minister vowed his government was working for the release of hostages, including two Americans and a Briton who are also threatened with decapitation by their captors, who claim to be from an al-Qaeda-linked terrorist group.
