Bulgaria Honors UEFA President

At a solemn ceremony Wednesday night UEFA President Lennart Johansson received the Honorary Badge of Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov.

The UEFA chief received the award for his contribution to the development of Bulgarian football.

The ceremony was attended by high profile officials of Bulgarian football and members of the UEFA governing body.

The visiting UEFA members are in Sofia for their regular meeting due to end Thursday. Then they will attend the match between FC Levski and FC Beveren on the Gerena Stadium.
