Make a wish and it will come true in the Ledenika cave as the small icon of Saint George carved into one of the rocks will take care of it.

The natural rock beauty is one of Bulgaria's deepest and most gorgeous secrets, as some of its halls and passages still haven't been thoroughly explored.

The cave is impressive with its alien beauty. Once you enter the Ledenika cave you see yourself in a different world - pure, grandiose and very, very chilly. In summer the temperature reaches up to 10 degrees on Celsius, while in winter it drops to 20 degrees below zero.

This place is a real icy underground fairy tale during the winter. That gave the name of the cave - Ledenika (the Glacier). And though the cave is beautiful all the year round, in winter when icicles and clubs, thick columns and gentle stalactites start growing in the Antechamber and Little Hall, it is really enchanting.

The magnificence of the biggest hall in the cave, the Concert Hall, leaves each person breathless. The hall received its name after several symphonic concerts were organized there. The music still echoes in the big hall sporting stalactites and stalagmites, while the small Sinter Lake, with its magical water, formed over the years by the water drops, peacefully listens to it.

Leave your imagination float freely in the Concert Hall because the stalactites, stalagmites, stalactones there have their own character and form. Above you there is the Crocodile hanging with its head down, while the Falcon is watching you hidden among the rocks.

Now make another wish and it will turn into reality if you put your right hand into the freezing waters of the "Wish Pond"- a marvellous little sinter lake.

For all adventure seekers the journey to the Seventh Sky is a real challenge!

Pass the Little Chasm, a two-meter deep hole, and face the Big Chasm, the nine-meter deep abyss. Still, these ordeals are worth it as the splendid white waterfall and the Draperies - rust-coloured formations - fine and gentle, falling from the ceilings are waiting for you to discover their beauty.

Two huge columns form the so-called Sinners' Pass, passable only for those that have no sins according to the legend, which leads to the White Hall. Now it is once again all up to your imagination - one sees bathing woman, another one - Indian dancer and her hand with rings and bracelets. Here is the grape that cannot.

Take a deep breath and go to the Seventh Sky, one of the most beautiful halls in the Ledenika cave. All that virgin beauty in a place located just a few kilometers away from the city civilization.

The cave is approximately 300 m in length and its altitude is 830 metres. It boasts 10 halls, ornate with stalactites, stalagmites, stalactones, rock draperies and waterfalls.

Still, thought it is one of the most frequently visited caves in Bulgaria Ledenika's beauty remains veiled in mystery.
