Bulgaria's violin virtuoso Mila Georgieva, once proclaimed musical prodigy, will join the musicians from the "Sofia Soloists" and the youth orchestra of Classic FM Radio.

The two orchestras will join their efforts for the first time to stage a major concert o September 17, Sofia's Day.

Mila Geogieva began playing the violin at the age of four and even before she reached her teens she had a worldwide reputation, winning top prizes in competitions in Bulgaria and Czechoslovakia, touring in Spain, Holland, the Philippines, Singapore, India and China, appearing on Italian, French and Swiss television.

Georgieva has performed with the Gewandhaus Orchestra in Leipzig under Kurt Masur, the orchestras of Belgian and Dutch Radio and Television, the Sofia Philharmonic and Sofia Soloists Chamber Orchestra, the Franz List Chamber Orchestra from Budapest and the RIAS Symphony Orchestra in Berlin. She has toured in Germany, South America and Japan.
