France's foreign minister made an impassionate speech Monday, pleading for the release of two hostages in Iraq. Minister Michel Barnier stressed on the fact that France was tolerant of all religions and human rights. The captors of the two French journalists demanded rescinding the ban of wearing Islamic headscarf in French schools. The deadline expires Monday night.
