International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Jacques Rogge has refused to hand out reparations in finals overshadowed by scoring controversies.
"The IOC will not be handing out extra medals," Dr Rogge said.
Bulgaria's hopes to get a gold medal in men's rings finals vanished into thin air following the statement of Jacques Rogge. The 31-year-old Jordan Jovchev was obviously neglected by the jury in Athens, which gave the rings gold to Greece's Dimosthenis Tampakos, outscoring the Bulgarian by just 0.012 of a point. Bulgaria filed a contestation against the ranking in the Olympic men's rings contest but the International Gymnastics Federation turned down the appeal.
"We've said 'No' to the German NOC and 'No' to the Korean NOC. We'll continue to say 'No'," Jacques Rogge said.
Germany had two equestrian three-day eventing golds taken away after a timing error by officials, while a South Korean gymnast missed out on gold as a result of a judging mistake.
