The season's fastest woman Ivet Lalova preserved her chances for an Olympic medal after qualifying for the 200-meter final sprint with second best time of 22.56 on Tuesday night.
The 20-year-old charming sprinter has recorded Bulgaria's best performance at Olympic games making it for the 100m and 200m finals for the first time since 80s.
Last week, she came out fourth in the Olympic 100m final sprint, recording her best-so-far result at the Olympics clocking 11.00 sec.
Earlier on Tuesday, the 1,500m runner Daniela Yordanova find a place in the semifinals event scoring a personal record of 4:05,57 over this season.
