Ivet Lalova, Bulgaria's fastest woman for this season, continued her triumphant performance in Athens, ranking first in the 200 m qualification series.
The 20-year-old Bulgarian clocked 22.88 seconds, advancing to the quarter-finals that will take place later tonight.
Ivet Lalova came out fourth in the Olympic 100 m finals on Saturday, clocking 11.04 sec. Belarus' Julia Nesterenko surprisingly landed the gold medal, running the finals for 10.93 sec.
