The fastest woman this season Ivet Lalova feels comfortable with her fourth place in the final 10-meter sprint at Athens 2004, a real achievement for the 20-year-old Bulgarian.

Outpacing in the semifinals athletic legends such as Christine Aaron and Merlene Ottey, Lalova has made Bulgarian sports history with the best so far performance in Olympic games.

It is obvious now that old names has given path to new favorites in running, and I am one of the latter, the happy Ivet Lalova told journalists from Bulgarian Sports Radio.

She said that the Gold Winner Juliya Nesterenko (Belarus) deserved fully her title having shown all through the sprints stable time results - less than 11.00 sec - and staunch nerves.

Bulgaria keeps on watching closely her Olympic medals hopeful, as Ivet Lalova is facing the starts of double longer distance of 200m in Athens.
