Bulgaria's Ivo Yanakiev and Rumyana Neikova won the bronze medals in the finals of respectively the men's and women's single skulls on Saturday morning.

Yanakiev garnered a final result 6:52.80, outpaced only by the Norwegian Olaf Tufte and Estonian Jueri Jaanson.

The Sydney 2000 silver medallist Rumyana Neikova clocked third time of 7:23,10 following her Germany's and Belarus' rivals.

Yanakiev is Bulgaria's third medallist at this year's Olympic games after shooter Maria Grozdeva and judist Georgi Georgiev won their bronze medals on Monday.

Maria Grozdeva is also Bulgaria's Athens 2004 Gold Winner at 25m air pistol shooting.
