Hristo Stoitchkov cut down the number of defenders in the Bulgarian football team for the game against Eire on Wednesday.

Instead of four, Bulgaria will have three backs in the match.

Legendary Stoitchkov, who succeeded Plamen Markov on the coaching job, said he wanted to try new playing schemes.

He has also pledged to work for more offensive and spectacular playing.
