Bulgarian medallist at two World Championships Dimitar Stilianov stepped down triumphantly from the Olympic boxing ring in the first of the Flyweight (60kg) bouts of Monday's session in Athens.

In a bruising encounter at the Peristeri Boxing Hall the tough Bulgarian defeated Turkey's Selcuk Aydin, after Stilianov took the bout 20-11.

The victory paved the way of Dimitar Stilianov to the next round where he will meet British 17-aged stunning Olympics debutant Amir Khan.
