Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak left Moscow after a three-day visit during which he discussed the situation in Iraq and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. At their meeting on Friday the two leaders agreed on the need for real sovereignty for the interim Iraqi government that is to take over after the US hands over power at the end of June, the ITAR-TASS news agency reported. On Saturday, Mubarak received an honorary degree from Moscow's Institute for International Relations, where he called for greater cooperation between Egypt and Russia.
