Gardeners from around the globe have descended on the annual Chelsea Flower Show in London, eager to showcase new design trends. Seen as the most important on the horticultural calendar, this year's event exhibited numerous unusual entries such as a medicinal garden inspired by the legend of King Arthur. It features a waterfall, cave and tower representing Merlin's ancient fortress. The sell-out event, which officially opens on Tuesday, features about 600 exhibitors, including 52 gardens exhibited under the categories of show, chic, courtyard or city.
