N Korea Admits Train Disaster

North Korean authorities have finally acknowledged a "serious" incident, as 154 railway blast victims were already reported. Two wagons carrying dynamite exploded Thursday in the Ryongchon station, near the Chinese border. China said there were 1,300 injured. According to a Red Cross team at the site, 2,000 homes have been destroyed, and 6,000 were seriously damaged. Several nations as well as the EC have offered emergency aid to North Korea.
