The US Secretary of State has arrived in Baghdad, on a previously unannounced visit. Colin Powell's trip comes on the eve of the first Anniversary of the US-led invasion in Iraq to topple Saddam Hussein. As the date approaches, violence in the war-torn country has been aggravating.
