Haiti's newly-appointed PM called for disarmament and ending dictatorship from the past, as he arrived back in the country from exile. He steps in office after President Jean-Bertrand Aristide resigned under pressure from the US, France and rebels inside the country. There have been calls for an independent investigation into the cause for the ousting of Aristide - the first democratically elected president in Haiti.
