Police has detained a number of suspects over the blast in the Moscow subway on February 6, which claimed the lives of 40 people and wounded more than 100 others, RIA Novosti reported. Nikolay Petrushin from the Interior Ministry was cited as saying that there are many arrested, but their links to the bloodshed are not proven yet. Interrogations are currently underway. The blast rattled a carriage during morning rush hour as the train was travelling from Paveletskaya station to Avtozavodskaya station, southwest of the city centre, around 8:40 a.m. local time.
