South Korea Makes Human Cloning Breakthrough

Scientists from South Korea's Seoul National University have cloned 30 human embryos, and for the fist time ever culled stem cells. The move is seen as an important step for patients being able to grow their own replacement tissue when needed for treating diseases. The aim is to use the cells to replace ones that have failed in patients with problems such as Alzheimer's disease, without the risk for the tissue to be rejected by the patient's immune system.
