Foreign Minister Solomon Passy will attend the Stability Pact Regional Conference in Bucharest, Romania on October 25 and October 26, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Elena Poptodorova announced. `The Bulgarian position is that the forum should focus on accelerating the implementation of the agreed projects,` Poptodorova added. According to her, the conference will be successful for Bulgaria if the construction of the Sofia-Skopje railway link and the Sofia-Nis highway is included in the quick-start projects. Last week, Passy asked Stability Pact Special Coordinator Bodo Hombach for assistance in including the two projects in the Pact`s quick-start package.
