German Women Tested Negative for Deadly Bird Flu

The two German women, who were suspected of having the fatal bird flu, tested negative for the deadly disease, officials from the Bernhard-Nocht-Institute for Tropical Medicine in Hamburg, announced on Tuesday. One of the women had returned from Thailand with symptoms similar to those produced by the disease, the other one was accompanying her in her travels. Later it was announced that a man with similar symptoms had also been put under supervision in a German hospital.
