UN Liaison Team in Iraq

The United Nations announced that a two-person military and security team arrived in Baghdad as the world body readies for a possible return to Iraq. The announcement comes as Secretary General Kofi Annan who withdrew staff from the country three months ago after deadly attacks on the UN's Baghdad offices, faces calls to assist US plans to give Iraqis self-rule in July.
