Prodi, Verheugen in Ankara Today

EU Commission President Romano Prodi will arrive in Ankara today as official guest of Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish media informed. EU Commissioner Gunther Verheugen will accompany Prodi, who will be the first Commission President visiting Turkey since the Ankara Agreement was signed in 1963. Prodi is expected to address the Turkish Parliament and to meet parliamentary activists.
