Controversy over the upcoming parliamentary elections in Iran must be resolved through legal ways, supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said. He referred to a quarrel that broke after the Guardian Council barred more than 2,000 reformist from standing, and prompted fierce protests. Some 80 reformist deputies are currently carrying out a sit-in at the Iranian parliament.
