US Nuclear Watchdog Starts Check in Libya

The head of the US nuclear watchdog, Mohammed ElBaradei, arrives in Libya on Saturday to assess the state of Libya's nuclear facilities. The move comes after a few days earlier Libya announced its decision to scrap its weapons of mass destruction (WMD) programs, and welcome all foreign experts who would like to make an inspection on nuclear sites. ElBaradei leads a team of experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and their work could begin immediately after his visit.
