Japanese Soldiers Heading for Iraq

Some 40 Japanese soldiers have left for Iraq to carry out a humanitarian mission, Japanese media reported. The country also plans to send about 1,000 troops to the war-torn country, as part of the coalition forces there. That decision, however, is facing strong resistance from a large part of the Japanese people.
