Japan Blows UP Spy Rocket

Japan has destroyed a rocket carrying two spy satellites intended to monitor North Korea. The rocket had to be blown up after it took off because of an unspecified technical failure, officials at the Japanese space programme have said. An investigation on the breakdown is reportedly under way. Japan now has two other satellites to monitor North Korea, which is suspected of developing nuclear weapons.
