Pakistan reported a ceasefire it proposed with India was holding in disputed Kashmir and urged New Delhi to move forward to dialogue long sought by Islamabad. India reaches midnight half an hour ahead of Pakistan. The ceasefire was proposed by Pakistan's Prime Minister Zafarullah Jamali on Sunday after seven months of stop-and-start efforts to mend ties severed after the December 2001 attack on India's parliament.
