PRIME MINISTER TO VISIT BRUSSELS BY OCTOBER`S END

The Bulgarian Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg will pay an official visit to Belgium on October 22 and 23. The Bulgarian Prime Minister is scheduled to meet President of the European Commission Romano Prodi, NATO Secretary General Lord George Robertson, and Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt. Saxe-Coburg will hold unofficial meetings with Enlargement Commissioner Guenter Verheugen and with representatives of the Belgian Parliament and Senate. On October 24, the Bulgarian Prime Minister will visit the European Parliament in Strasbourg where he is scheduled to confer with President of the European Parliament Nicole Fontain. Deputy Foreign Meglena Kouneva, Minister and Chief Negotiator with the EU, Stoyan Ganev, Head of the Cabinet of the Prime Minister and Solomon Passy, Bulgarian Foreign Minister, will participate in the Bulgarian delegation.
