PRIME MINISTER TO VISIT GERMANY DECEMBER 13

`The Bulgarian Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg will pay a visit to Berlin on December 13,` Gernot Erler, Deputy Chairperson of the Social Democratic faction in the Bundestag and Speaker of the German-Bulgarian forum. The Bulgarian Embassy in Berlin confirmed the information. Erler was awarded with the Golden Laurel Branches medal of the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry in recognition of his contribution for the development of the two countries` bilateral relations. Michael Steobgen, chairman of the parliamentary group for friendship with Bulgaria, Friedbert Pfluger, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on European Matters, and Gerd-Winand Imayer, Honorary Consul General to Hamburg were also awarded with the same medal. The ceremony took place at the Bulgarian Embassy in Berlin.
